Welcome to Lab Notes
Welcome to Lab Notes — the research publication of PeopleSafetyLab. This is where we share our findings, frameworks, and practical guidance on AI safety for the Arab world.
What is PeopleSafetyLab?
PeopleSafetyLab is the AI safety lab for the Arab world. We protect:
- People at Work — Enterprise AI governance and safety frameworks
- People at Home — Family safety tools and parent education
- People Everywhere — Consumer AI rights and advocacy
Our Research Approach
Open by Default
We believe AI safety knowledge should be freely accessible. All our research is published openly under Creative Commons licenses. No paywalls, no gatekeeping.
Practically Grounded
Our research isn't academic abstraction. We focus on:
- What organizations can implement today
- What parents can do this weekend
- What policymakers should know now
Locally Relevant
We're not importing Western frameworks wholesale. We adapt everything for:
- Saudi and GCC regulatory context
- Arabic language and cultural nuances
- Local business practices and norms
